Article Marketing On Steroids - How To Get Published On Other Web Sites

I frequently recommend that article marketers should extend their reach beyond article directories. Here is another idea to increase the chance of having your articles published on other people’s sites.
Article directories, such as EzineArticles.com, provide great opportunities for business owners. You can actually tap into their sites to bring in qualified traffic for your own site or business. This is what I call as “stealing traffic ethically.” You provide valuable content and in return you get what you want.
This is actually a win-win-win model.
First, article directories want your content. The more the content, the more pages they could monetize from. Most of them make money by partnering up with AdSense. Readers always come to the sites for more content. Not only do they want qualified content to read, web and ezine publishers are constantly looking for high-quality content to provide to their readers.
Finally, article marketers benefit from the exposure given by both the article directories and other sites or ezines.
Article directories are great, but never limit yourself with one source of traffic. Articles definitely have more benefits than that. For instance, while your articles must compete with tens or not hundreds of other articles on the same topic in the directories, your articles will get sole attention from less competitive web sites.
Approaching other people’s website, in my opinion, is an activity worth pursuing. You may want to build your expert status first in the article directories by writing solid content. Show them what you’ve written and offer to help them. Do it wholeheartedly because people don’t want to work with you if you don’t do anything but requesting links from them.
By being the expert on other sites, the attention will be almost undivided. Web site owners may choose your articles in the directories, but if you approach them manually, often you will build business relationship that will last too.
