Imagine waking up above the clouds or looking our you window and seeing some fishes swimming by.  These are some of the worlds most unique hotels.

1. Ice Hotel ? Sweden

The original Ice Hotel, a unique concert of having a hotel completely made of Ice!  The hotel constantly changes as it is rebuilt every year so it is never the same place to visit twice.

It is 200 km north of the arctic circle, you have a choice of accommodation available, from the traditional ice rooms which have everything made of Ice and where the temperature is around -5c. 

Then there are the warmer wooden cabins which have more traditional furnishings and also have heating inside.

2. Strawberry Fields ? Jamaica

Strawberry fields is a luxury resort which is situated on the hills over Kingston, here you enjoy excellent five star accommodation.  One of the most unique aspects of this hotel is the spectacular views from the room balcony which sees you waking up amongst clouds at 3,00ft.

The packages available are all inclusive and you can enjoy some excellent food with fine dining options available.

3. Iverlochy Castle ? Scotland

Spend a night sleeping with the fishes in this underwater hotel, here you can enjoy a truly unique experience.  There are only two rooms available and you can enjoy meals and of course unique views of the passing fish.

Even to get to the hotel is a experience as you have to dive 21 feet below the sea as suddenly you are confronted with the underwater habitat.

5. The Burj Al Arab ? Dubai


At the moment this hotel is the tallest hotel in the world, currently standings at 330 meters and designed by British architect Tom Wright.   It is housed on its of island which was artificially created and is shaped like the sail of a ship.

It is also one of the worlds most luxurious hotels inside with a 180 metre atrium inside and the hotel refers to itself as a 7 star hotel , here you will find the highest level of luxury and a truly unique experience.
