Green Electricity In Flats

Low rise flats in Birmingham have been refurbished and are helping to create green electricity.
Solar photovoltaic panels have been fitted in the flats that will use the sun to generate the electricity that will then be able to light up communal areas within the apartment via intelligent lighting that will be fitted in the rooms.
Caldmore Area Housing Association flats are also making the innovative move of working with Green Energy UK, a national supplier of 100 per cent green electricity.
This collaboration will ensure that excess electricity will be supplied by panels that will be fitted into the national grid so that other homes and businesses will be able to use the green energy being supplied.
The company, Green Energy UK, has said that the great thing about the energy that they supply is that it is from a totally renewable source and this secures its place as the greenest sources of energy used. Any surplus energy won’t go to waste either, as other people who want green energy will be able to use it. The company also said that the photovoltaic panels will make metering the energy economic, so cheap electricity is a very real possibility with these panels.
The company don’t just use the panels though; they also supply the energy for a number of places via more unusual methods, such as the farm that uses pig waste to supply the power. There is also a Waitrose tomato growing company who create their electricity whilst growing the tomatoes.
