A Simple Golf Swing With Fitness

Posted on July 18, 2008 - Filed Under Recreation and Sports

There are some advantages and disadvantages to having a simple golf swing. If it is not technically complicated then there is no so much to concentrate on when you swing and less elements for you to make mistakes in.

However, a simple golf swing may not be the best type, despite many people claiming that it is. A lot of the evidence does point towards it being more accurate and more consistent so therefore it would seem that it would be the best swing to use, especially perhaps for the beginner. The technique means that you move fewer body parts during the swing which means there is less chance of injury and the movement is not so complicated.

It is worth noting the importance of getting those moving body parts as flexible as you can. Even with a simple swing, you will still find that you use a lot of different muscle groups and the strength of these muscles will have an effect on the power and accuracy of your swing, even if you have mastered all of the necessary techniques.

It is important to make sure that your leg, arm, lower back and abdominal muscles are all strong so that they can keep your body in the necessary positions and allow you to get the speed and accuracy that you require when you hit the ball. So even if you thing the simple golf swing is the answer to your golf swing problems you need to be aware of other factors such as physical fitness that could effect your game.
