Tribute To Unsung Heroes

Starting with the premiership and at Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo quite rightly hogs the headlines with others being praised but not enough credit is given to Patrice Evra, who, I think has had a magnificent season so far.
Nemanja Vidic has proved that his absence makes United’s defence look less secure than it normally does with him there and deserves a lot of praise.
At Arsenal Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor seem to take most of the headlines but Mathieu Flamini has perhaps being their best player and deserves a lot of praise.
Other unsung heroes include Alex Hleb, who has proved to be an excellent creative player and if he had goals in his repertoire would be regarded amongst the best in the world whilst Gael Clichy has surpassed Ashley Cole as an attacking left back with Bacary Sagna also deserving a lot of praise for a very good 1st season.
Though not mentioned often, his absence was a big loss to Arsenal when he got injured as he met Arsene Wenger had to do a reshuffle that has harmed the team more than help it.
At Liverpool, the likes of Fernando Torres, Steve Gerrard Jamie Carragher and even Javier Mascherano get good headlines and column inches but Dirk Kuyt as a modified hard working left winger has been excellent this season.
Xavi Alonso has shown on numerous occasions that he is invaluable to Liverpool with the way they play.
At Chelsea the most important member is Ricardo Carvalho as he gives the defence a security that the other defenders do not offer as his all round game is 2nd to none.
Michael Essien is another player that should be stealing the headlines as he is extremely important to the side whilst the likes of Frank Lampard, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Joe Cole, Petr Cech and Michael Ballack steal the front pages.
In Italy Juventus owe most of their having a brilliant season to players like Alessandro Del Piero, Gianluigi Buffon, Pavel Nedved and David Trezeguet.
But those aforementioned guys did not contribute more than Christian Zanetti and Mauro Camoranesi, who have both had sensational seasons.
At Inter Milan they have 2 Argentines that would and should grace any side in the world in captain, Javier Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso.
They do not get the headlines that some players do but is doubtful that any side in world football has a player like Javier Zanetti that does not get as much praise as his versatility and all round play totally deserve to have.
At Roma the headliners are Francesco Totti and Amantino Mancini and to a lesser extent Daniele De Rossi but the likes of Rodrigo Taddei and especially Simone Perrotta deserve great praise for their willingness to work for the cause.
Another unsung hero is Juan, who prior to his 1st injury was arguably the best foreign import to SerieA this season.
In Spain, Barcelona have so many headline grabber but 1 of the key players is Andres Iniesta. He is such a fantastic player and should be always in the headlines with his performances but for some reason he does not.
His versatility sometimes counts against him but he is 1 of their key players and has been 1 of their best players for 2 years now.
