Having A Good Organic Garden Pest Control

Organic garden pest control is a comprehensive approach instead of a chemical approach. Create a healthy biodiversity so that the insects and microbes will control themselves. Organic fiber products, too, have moved beyond T-shirts, and include bed and bath linens, tablecloths, napkins, cosmetic puffs, feminine hygiene products, and men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in a wide variety of styles. Agriculture involves a production management system based on the ecological principles of nutrient cycling, biotic regulation of pests and biodiversity. Synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are replaced by sunlight-based inputs, such as plant and animal residues.
Farms and processing facilities are inspected and reviewed annually to ensure that organic methods and management techniques are being practiced. Certified organic farmers and processors must keep detailed records of their practices. Farmers’ markets often feature organic produce from nearby farms, but not everyone lives near a farmers’ market–and most products at the markets aren’t organic.
Organic farms also benefit the farm workers who have high exposure to chemicals and synthetic pesticides. Organic foods meet the same quality and safety standards as conventional foods. The difference lies in how the food is produced, processed and handled. Organic methods require about twice the acreage to produce the same crop, thus directly resulting in the destruction of undeveloped land.
Organic methods might also be expected to produce less nitrous oxide - one of the causes of acid rain - than is released by heavily fertilized soils. Organic farming protects our water supply, our wild life, our families, and our future. Choosing organic foods is like voting to go back to a more natural and safer way of breathing, eating, and living.
Organic refers to the way agricultural foods and fibers are produced and processed. It is a commitment to agricultural practices that strive for a balance with nature, using organic garden pest control methods and materials that are of low impact to the environment.
