Psychologically if people thing they can make money selling the stuff they will say and believe practically anything about it.
You CAN make a lot of money selling overpriced liquid vitamins.
It’s true - the absorption is probably better - but a lot of the Hi-tech mumbo-jumbo is probably there just to confuse and impress people who don’t know much about nutrition or science. And the absorption-to-price ratio makes liquid mlm vitamins pretty expensive compared to hard vitamin pellets. If you are convinced that you need vitamins - and you might not, if you eat right - then liquid vitamins are pricey but good.
It’s the heavier weight and requirement for more shelf space that makes liquid vitamins more costly. They are expensive to store and ship.
Remember - people want to make money - they want to support their decisions and they get into a Zealous State sometime. In their zeal to profit or overcome their financial problems a lot of folks will get outrageously passionate about the mlm product.
This is part of what gives mlm a bad name - overzealous distributors telling you the juice cures cancer and things like that.
HOW TO CHOOSE A NUTRITION MLM
Here’s a test. Avoid Nutritional MLMs for a year. Don’t touch them. Don’t use their products. Find another way to make money. OK?
Instead - take your money and go to your local health food store and talk to the clerks. Buy some supplements from a respected, established company.
Try them out. Test them.
Do you feel better?
Do you feel the same?
If the one you are using doesn’t work for you try something else.
Remember to eat a healthy diet. This goes a long way toward making you feel good. The 1 Book I recommend you get and study is “Healing With Whole Foods” by Paul Pitchford. It’s
about 700 pages. If you apply only a small portion of the information in the book you will feel better for the rest of your life. It’s not the only great book on the subject - but if you want to just get one book about the nitty-gritty of practical nutrition it’s a good one.
Then - after you are eating much better and you are taking 1 or 2 supplements that work for you - then after 1 YEAR allow yourself to buy some MLM products and stop taking the mainstream supplements you’ve been taking.
