Here’s a simple way on how to lose 5 pounds in a week or less. It won’t feel like you’re on a diet or exercising way too much. I’m sure you’re too busy to plan meals and devote extra time to exercising. So I’ll skip that stuff and give you some good tips that are simple to implement.
How To Lose 5 Pounds in a Week
1. Eat eggs for breakfast
This is the best food you can eat for breakfast. It helps jumpstart your metabolism from your overnight starvation. The protein is a natural metabolism booster. Since eggs fill you up and are healthy, I give them the thumbs-up over sugar-loaded cereals that just make you feel hungry again within 90 minutes. I suggest you eat 3-4 scrambled eggs every morning.
2. Eat 3 apples a day
Apples are relatively high in fiber (5 grams per apple) as well as high in water content. The high fiber makes this a good and filling snack to curb other cravings. Eat these either as snacks or right before a meal to crowd out some of the meal’s calories. If you just ate 3 apples a day, you’d lose 2 pounds in a month… doing nothing else.
3. Eat more often
Eating more often, like 5-6 small meals, each day gives the metabolism a huge boost since while giving you consistent energy and stable blood sugar levels. Since your body increases your metabolism to digest foods, the more often you eat, the more often you increase your metabolism.
