Do You Need A High Ticket Product, And Can That Ht Product Be An Affiliate Product?

Posted on May 30, 2008 - Filed Under Business

Sean: Well, yes and yes. Number one, you really have to have a high-ticket product. It’s almost crazy to try to do 300 sales a month at $50. If you’re doing 300 sales a month at $50 and you’re not doing any high-ticket, you’re really leaving money on the table because people have more needs than that $50 product.

They really do. The second question is about an affiliate product - well, of course it can be an affiliate product! In fact, when you’re first getting started, it probably should be an affiliate product. Don’t wait until it’s taken you three months to create that product. Actually, you can create that product even faster than a few months. I can actually teach you how to create a $500 product in a matter of weeks, but until you have one, yes, that can definitely be an affiliate product.

Caller: So even from the beginning when you’re putting together your marketing funnel, you should put together the entire marketing funnel from low-ticket to high-ticket items.

Sean: Yeah, you absolutely should. Now, if you’re going to work with your entire marketing funnel at the beginning, which really you should (most people don’t), you should start with your high-ticket item first in terms of your mind. You may not have it available, but find or think about what that high ticket item’s going to look like, and then what you can do is make everything else work as a leading item to get to that high-ticket item. Instead of starting out with a $50 item and saying, “I’m going to see what happens,” start in your mind (you may not physically have the product) thinking about… what the final product, final result is going to be.
