Using Orkut To Run A Reverse Lookup

As a part of its effort to remain on top of everything search-worthy online, Google - the world’s largest search engine - has started its own social networking website. Though many people are already members of social networking websites online, with rich profiles full of information, pictures, and other things to share and enjoy, the majority of them have not even heard of Google’s answer to social networking, Orkut.
However, with Google’s tremendous marketing abilities, it is predicted that it won’t be long before the internet’s big two social networking sites becomes the big three, instead. Orkut has been designed to make sharing information, pictures, videos, and small applications with friends and family a safe and easy experience.
It allows you to provide a great deal of information about yourself right from the point of registration so that you are very easy to search for. However, that being said, Orkut also respects your privacy and allows you to post only the information that you want to share in your profile. This means that searches can be very refined, so that your friends and family will find you easily (as they will be able to use whatever information they know about you to find you) but at the same time, you aren’t required to reveal all of your personal information to just anyone.
Furthermore, users must request your permission to view your profile, so not only do you have control over what information is posted, but you also have control over who sees it.
There is a quick-sign-up option available where you need only enter your email address and birth date (which Orkut must request for legal reasons, but which won’t be posted within your profile unless you allow it), however, this limits your search-ability.
Once your Orkut registration is complete, not only can your friends search for you, but you can also search for your friends. If you need to find out information about your friends, but they have not posted it on their profile, you should simply look for their phone number.
You can always find out who owns a phone number including the name, address, and other relevant information, using a reverse phone lookup service. Therefore, if you can obtain the telephone number from Orkut, you also have the ability to access other information, as well.
