1. Choose a topic. This is the first step that you need to take when you decide to write an ebook. It is recommended that you stick with something that you are very knowledgeable with or an expert on. Think about your experiences in life where you have discovered valuable information that you think will be saleable online. For instance, if you were able to easily get over a heartbreak, write about it. You see, you can pick any topic as long as there are people online who are willing to spend money on it.

2. Create an outline or better yet, write your table of contents before you write your ebook. Jot down all the information you want to include in your book and arrange them in chronological order. You can add or delete sub-topics along the way but it is better to stick with your outline to make your writing well-guided.

3. Do your research. You would want your ebook to be content-rich and fact-based, right? You can easily do so by doing an extensive research. Check the internet for relevant articles or websites that can support your ideas to make your content credible.

4. Length. Your ebook can run as much as 200 pages but you have to remember that the audience you are serving have limited time span and appreciate getting their information ASAP.
