A Poetess On A Waiting List

He called the receptionist and booked one room. A large room plenty of lavender orchids and four beautiful baskets of fresh fruits. A white silky blanket to cover a pure body and a fluffy pillow to carry a beautiful mind. Spacious porch where the sun never sets, no windows, no curtains, a big entrance door that never closes, no knob, no “please do not disturb” sign, a phone but no answering machine, a radio but no television, and a crib.
The bellboy waited impatiently for the car to show and when it arrived, his eyes could not stand the blinding light outlining the beautiful creation. A miracle with a suitcase was not asked for the credentials or the departure date, wondering whether the conceived plan was published and the news were not anew.
The Staff waited by the phone for an order, a room service, a complaint, a feedback but the plan was to guide and not instruct, to serve and not be served, to land a hand and not ask for help, to praise and not criticize, to accept and not reject! Everybody bet on an omission, a small violation, a frustrated anger, a non-compliance, and waited…But the plan did not fail to everybody’s surprise and its articles, clauses and conditions were achieved.
After a long shower and one glass of milk, light footsteps exited the hotel to set out but the road was not asphalted, rather bumps and wholes interrupted a grand walk every step of the way. Too many intersections, a meltipot crowd, no traffic lights, no road signs, nothing to guide a lost confused mind. Only heartbeats, strong enough to deaf elephants, sincere enough to offset Lucifer. And like this, the heart became the only scout that showed the way.
With a multilingual tongue, a dictionary was elaborated with definitions of its own, no synonyms, no antonyms, no paraphrases. A dictionary that gave good connotations to devilish terms - Betrayal, hypocorism, egocentrism and hatred were always condoned. Sympathy, compassion, good will and an obstinate determination to unconditionally see an implicit good will in disappointing creatures, cutting expressions, deceiving pledges, and harmful offences.
And when the love was thoroughly offered until the last drop of charity, the temple was decorated with solid stones and high columns, lullabies sung with a reassuring unforgettable voice, a firm circle of delighted bonds was fastened…Plan B was pronounced.
He called Raphael and booked one palace. A big palace plenty of lavender orchids and four beautiful gardens of fresh fruits. A white silky light to cover a pure body and a fluffy leave to carry a beautiful mind. Spacious meadows where the sun never sets, no fences, no barriers, no scarecrows, a big country that is never besieged, no checkpoint, a big “Welcome” sign, a wireless phone but no call back, a radio with huge antenna, and seven cribs.
